Cabins

All of the 12 guest accommodation coaches of Deccan Odyssey are fitted with comfortable furniture and personalised guest amenities. Complemented by the very best attention from the staff on board, travelling in the private compartments of this deluxe train is a unique rail experience in India. All cabins are spacious and decorated to reflect their Indian heritage. Cabin facilities include personal safe, telephone, en suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a personal attendant on call 24 hours of the day.

Dining and Cuisine

The Deccan Odyssey has two multi-cuisine restaurants: Peshwa I & Peshwa II, with both offering a large selection of Indian, oriental and continental cuisine. Special diets should be notified at the time of booking and every attempt will be made to accommodate these.

Bar

The Mumbai Hi bar is the ultimate place to taste a selection of wines, beers and spirits sourced from around the world, together with non-alcoholic beverages in a relaxing atmosphere.

Spa

The health spa on board gives guests an opportunity to receive some pampering massage therapies.

Internet

Wi-Fi is available on board together with laptops to keep you connected with the outside world, should you wish to do so.

Smoking

Smoking in India is prohibited in all public places.

Medical Assistance

Medical assistance is available on-board the train. A doctor can be arranged on call at any destination.

Souvenirs

The train has a Souvenir shop on board that sells handicraft items, traditional artefacts, curios and ethnic dresses.

Wheelchair Assistance

Special assistance is available for differently abled guests in the form of wheelchair and attendants.
