Featuring a return journey on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Travel from London to Venice and enjoy two nights in Venice before returning to London.
Day 1 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart London mid-morning on board the carriages of the British Pullman and travel through the Kentish countryside whilst enjoying brunch with a Bellini. After crossing the channel by Eurotunnel, you arrive in Calais where the magical sight of the gleaming blue and gold wagons-lits of the continental sleeper train awaits you.
After being escorted to your compartment, change for dinner and perhaps visit the bar car for an aperitif. A specially prepared gourmet four-course dinner is served in one of the authentic, Art Nouveau restaurant cars. After this you may wish to spend some time in the Bar Car, chatting with fellow travellers or enjoying the sounds of the baby grand piano. The train stops in Paris around 10pm to welcome other passengers. Travel overnight through France and into Switzerland.

Day 2 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Awake this morning in the Swiss Alps and, after a continental breakfast served in your compartment, relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Austria. Lunch is served as the train enters Italy. Enjoy an afternoon tea before crossing the lagoon and arriving in Venice around 6pm, where you stay for two nights at your chosen hotel.

Day 3 : Venice
Enjoy your time in Venice at leisure. The historic city is full of wonderful places to visit. You might also wish to take the Alilaguna boat ride to the outlying islands of Murano and Burano. Other optional sightseeing tours are available for you to view this beautiful city.

Day 4 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Say farewell to Venice as you embark on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for your return journey. On arrival at Santa Lucia Station, your personal steward settles you into your compartment, followed by lunch as you travel through the Italian Dolomites and into Austria. Afternoon tea and pastries are served before arrival into Innsbruck late afternoon. Enjoy another gastronomic dinner, served in one of the beautifully restored restaurant cars, and perhaps a night cap in the bar before an overnight on board.

Day 5 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Continental breakfast is served in your compartment as the train arrives in Paris. A short stop is made to allow fellow travellers to board or disembark and to pick up supplies. A delicious and extensive brunch is served before arriving in Calais around noon. Cross to England by Eurotunnel shuttle coach and embark on the Belmond British Pullman train for London Victoria during which time a traditional afternoon tea is served. Arrive around 5.30pm.
