Cornish Weekend featuring St Mawes & Falmouth

Enjoy a full-day excursion to Lamorran, a beautiful subtropical Italianate inspired garden, where the unique microclimate means that a great variety of unusual plants can thrive. Then head to the idyllic village of St Mawes for lunch. Savour a sumptuous three-course lunch with wine as you take in sea views from the Idle Rocks Hotel, situated on the harbour side of this charming Cornish village. After lunch, return to Falmouth to visit Cornwall's National Maritime Museum, a celebration of the sea, boats and Cornwall, or alternatively, explore the town at your leisure.

Cornwall emits an air of breathtaking beauty. Standing proudly on the south west coast, its mild and moist climate allows an exotic array of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers to luxuriate. The most recent spectacle to emerge is that of the Eden Project - described as the 'Living Theatre of Plants and People', stunning in its vision, it creates a vast global garden for thousands of beautiful and important plants.
